Hanging on to summer

We spent the entire day at the beach Sunday. Picnic dinners on the beach with friends turn out to be the best part of the day. Dave took his job of teaching the kids how to jump over the waves very seriously.

It is a rare day when both kids are cleaned up and we are able to document it. Pretty cute. Not biased at all....

Moosehead Lake

We just returned from our first-ever full family camping trip.  We went to Moosehead Lake with friends Amy, Zack, Bowden (4) and Macy (almost 2).  The kids loved it.  They played in the water, saw a moose, and, shockingly, slept well.  Here are a few photos.

Two!

On March 16, Ethan turned two, and there was cake and ice cream for all.  Ethan's first candle was promptly blown out by Torin (in the green shirt to Ethan's left).  So we re-lit the candle, and while we all focused on Torin, Ethan reached out and snuffed the candle with his bare fingers.  We gasped.  He gave us all a quizzical look, as if wondering what all the fuss was about. 

After many months, we're back to the blog.  At least for the moment.  These photos are from a March trip to Puerto Rico.  Hopefully more will follow soon.
