We spent last week in St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), where January isn't quite like it is in Maine. Ana rediscovered shorts. We spent lots of lazy time sitting on the beach (Ana loves sand) but also took a trip to nearby St. John, where several of these photographs were taken. A pretty lazy trip, but perfect for a year-and-a-half-old girl.
The photo with the pond in the foreground and ocean in the background shows the view from our condo. Importantly, the pond had ducks. Ana spent hours looking at, and talking about, the ducks. The previous photo shows the view from our beach, with Virgin Islands National Park (on St. John) across the water.
