We spent last weekend at Dave's grandfather's house in New Hampshire, and Ana met one of her great-grandfathers for the first time. She decided that she rather enjoyed listening to (and watching; black and white keys are thrilling) him play the keyboard. She also met her Aunt Jenni for the first time, witnessed her grandfather's birthday, spent lots of time with her grandmother, and listened to lots of fireworks (it's New Hampshire, so setting off your own fireworks is almost a legal obligation, both on and after the fourth of July). She is utterly indifferent to explosions.
Steve the dog, meanwhile, discovered that she could simultaneously swim in and drink. This made her very happy.
The whole crew also stopped by South Portland on Monday, where Grampa/Great-Grampa/Hal saw our house and renewed his acquaintance with Steve, who took an immediate liking to him.
